Responsible participation

Competitions should be an occasional form of entertainment. Your money, time and wellbeing come first. It is always OK to stop entering.

Keep spending within your means

  • Decide what you can comfortably afford before entering, after everyday essentials and bills.
  • Keep track of what you spend across all competition sites, and stop when you reach your own limit.
  • Do not borrow money to enter or rely on a prize to pay bills or repay debts.
  • Do not spend more to try to recover money already spent. A prize is never certain.

If entering is causing stress, affecting relationships or becoming hard to stop, take a step back and consider the support below.

Take a break from paid entries

In your account settings, Take a break pauses paid competition entry and new payments on your Raffio account. Choose a duration and read the confirmation before starting. A timed break cannot be ended early; an indefinite break has no end date and cannot currently be removed.

Existing valid entries stay in their draws. Existing payments, refunds, disputes and prize claims continue normally. Promotional emails are paused; account, payment, support and prize messages can still reach you.

This is a pause on paid participation, not a block on every entry route. It does not currently block free postal entry.

Independent support

You do not need a Raffio account to use these resources.

These are independent services with their own privacy policies. Opening a link does not send them your Raffio account details.

Talk to Raffio

If you need help with your account, cannot access settings, or want to discuss account closure, email support@raffio.co.uk. You can contact us while signed out or during a break. You do not need to buy tickets or explain your finances to read this guidance or ask for help.

Reading this page or asking for support does not sign you up for promotional emails. Marketing preferences are separate.
